Hi - thanks for stopping by! I hope you'll take the time to visit all the SUDSOL blog tour stops - there are some amazingly talented demos out there! But first I'd like it if you would spend some time with me...
My first card has a masculine tone to it and could be used for Birthday, Retirement, a special Promotion, or just as a quick Hello.
The cardstock base is Early Espresso, the matting uses both Cajun Craze and Not Quite Navy. The ink for the sentiment is Early Espresso and taken from the super new Perfectly Penned greetings set. The lovely distressed style Designer Series Paper is Well Worn.
My next project is much more girly! It's a birthday card and gift box using the new Hostess Designer Series Paper Cheerful Treat. The lacy design is made with the new Lace Ribbon Border punch, and the sweet sentiments are found in the Hostess Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set.
The gift box is made using the #2 Box die with the Big Shot.
You can use the stamped birthday sentiment flat, or layer it up like a birthday cake using stampin' dimensionals.
Now - on to Christmas, my absolute favourite time of the year!
The first card uses heat embossing in silver to highlight the beautiful image from the new A Christmas Carol stamp set. I love the old-fashioned, antique look of this stamp set. The sentiment is also embossed in silver on the Night of Navy DSP, set off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
I used the same stamp set again (A Christmas Carol) but this time I water coloured the image with the Watercolour Wonder Crayons and an Aqua Painter. The cardstock used is Rich Razzleberry and Not Quite Navy. The ink for the sentiment and sponging is Rich Razzleberry. I also used the new Embossing Folder Stripes to give the matting extra definition.
My final card is made with the Snow Much Fun stamp set. Even though you'll want to colour the images, it's fast and easy - I used the Blender Pen and Markers to colour in this card. (Colours are Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz for cardstock and ink)
And of course the snow needed a little sparkle from the dazzling diamonds (adhered with Two Way Glue Pen)
I hope you enjoyed visiting with me on the SUDSOL Blog Tour. Please leave a message and tell me which project/s you liked!
