The card I have for you today is part accident, part inspiration. I saw a similar card inside while 'surfing', and thought I could figure it out. I did, but in the process started with So Saffron cardstock. No problem there until I picked up the Sweet Sorbet DSP from the Sale-a-bration brochure, cut it up, then realized the yellow was actually Summer Starfruit. Oh well, the So Saffron looks pretty good with it too! And I wasn't wasting the DSP or cardstock!
Here is the front:
I actually love the black and colourful design on the DSP (the little banner in the middle), but only in small doses. At least until I see someone's beautiful creation using it as the focal point.
The inside is very similar to the Tri-shutter card, but not quite.
There aren't as many panels as the Tri-shutter, and the cardstock base makes the inside a little surprise!
I didn't want to use too many designs of the DSP so I chose cardstock, and then embossed it with the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder on the black...
and the Stylish Stripes Textured Embossing Folder from last year's Holiday Catalogue.
I hope you like it! And that you'll have time to stamp today!
