Our team meeting of Stampin' Up! demos was held on Saturday. I love to host the meetings at my home, but we're just verging on being too numerous to make it comfortable. Until we must find a bigger place I'm happy to have my wonderful team here.
I have a big board room table that was found put out for spring clean up one year (truly!) and we gather around that. This month our theme was Easter/Spring and each place held a little treat of Subles Candy Dots and chocolate!
We do at least three Make and Takes at each meeting,
The first one was a case I made from Dawn Olchefske whose creations regularly inspire me!
The colours used are Marina Mist and Mint Macaron (I love this combination!) and the images are from the Awsomely Artistic stamp set (p. 125 in the Annual Catalogue). The sentiment is one of my favourites as it is so versatile, and is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (p. 124 in the Annual Catalogue).
The ribbon is so sparkly and ties really well, it is the Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon found in the Occasions Catalogue on p. 9. As you can see it works well with the Marina Mist and Mint Macaron (even better in real life than the photo shows).
The rhinestones give more sparkle along with the Clear Wink of Stella that is on the dragon fly's wings.
Our second Make and Take was an adorable magnetic bunny, and the project was led by Carolyn. Such a cutie that could be added to cards or gifts or your refrigerator collection. Punch Art is amazing and Carolyn is a specialist!
Besides Make and Takes we have lots of discussions and laughter and fun at our meetings. I always look forward to them.
Happy Stamping!
