Hi, I’m Carol and I’m glad you found your way to my blog!

Papercrafting is a wonderful way to create something beautiful, spend time with friends, and de-stress to name just a few of the reasons I love making cards and other paper projects. Most of the people I craft with feel the same way, perhaps you do too.

I’ve been crafting since I was a little girl – and that’s a long time ago! I also love gardening, reading, and travel. In some of my ‘other lives’ I’ve been a layout and design artist, a retail clerk in a bookstore, and most recently a freelance writer published on-line, in newspapers, and in magazines in Canada, the United States, and Norway.

My real claim-to-fame is my family. My husband and I have been married for 44 years and our three lovely and accomplished daughters are grown and have their own families now.

This blog is my way to share papercrafting projects and ideas with others. Hopefully the hints, tips, and tutorials will inspire you to explore this craft medium too. Or, if you’ve already caught the bug, I hope you’ll find some new ideas to add to your repertoire.

I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since February of 2008, and signed up because I love the quality of the products and the coordination of the colours through paper, ink, markers, ribbon, embellishments and specialty papers. It makes everything so easy, and it looks so polished!

As of December 2015 I have a team of 16 wonderful demos throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Alberta. Some are building their own business and team, while others wish to keep it simply as a hobby. Either way we all share and have fun together.
