ATLANTIC STAMPERS INK
A few of our team at a recent meeting. Hard at ...play!
Hi:
I love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - and I love being part of the group of demos that make up our team. They are all special ladies who love paper crafting, sharing it with their customers and friends, and getting together as a team to share, learn, and have lots of fun.
Fun is a big part of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - meeting new people has never been easier because we are all crafters!
Getting the new catalogues, pre-ordering and opening those boxes of new 'toys' - what a rush!
And because we're a team we're there to help each other - some of us are really creative, others are good 'copiers'! Some love the business and organizational side and share their tips and tricks, others love the hobby. Sharing our ideas and talents helps everyone.
If you have ever thought about becoming a demonstrator give me a call or send me an email - I'll answer your questions and concerns. As long as you live in Canada you can be a part of our team.
We meet bi-monthly. But we're in touch weekly, sometimes daily!
Some of the group members are hobby demos while others are working at building a business - it's your choice. We have members in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
We have a monthly newsletter, monthly swaps, incentives and rewards. We'd love you to join our team.
You can contact me at 902-893-3885 or by email.
Sincerely,
Carol

2. What if I want to do this as a hobby and not necessarily a business?
Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business.
If you choose not to hold workshops, you can simply place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the $400 quarterly sales minimum.
3. Can I be my own hostess?
Yes, you can be your own hostess anytime you want. Invite your family and friends into your home and have a workshop, or place your own order equaling $200. or higher to receive these benefits.
4. How much does it cost to get started as a demonstrator?
The Starter Kit is only $125 and it is totally customizable. That means you choose exactly what you want from any of the current catalogues. Stampin' Up! made this change so that demos who have been customers and already purchased the basics would not need to purchase the same things in their kit. New customers who become demos can purchase basic supplies or whatever they want! Often there are special promotions connected with becoming a demo (for example - during Sale-a-bration) so be sure to check with me to see what is being offered.
5. How can I make money as a demonstrator?
You can earn money in three ways: instant income (20-25 percent of each order), monthly volume rebates (5–20 percent of total sales), and monthly team override commissions (2–6 percent of your recruits’ sales).

6. Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
No. If you were to recruit demonstrators, you would be paid override commissions on your team’s sales, but this is a perk, not a requirement.
7. Where will I get project ideas for my workshops? What kind of training can I expect?
Stampin’ Up! provides dozens of training resources filled with project ideas and tips to help you run every aspect of your business, including a bi-monthly publication called Stampin’ Success, Demonstrator Support agents, a demonstrator only web site, hundreds of samples, annual and seasonal catalogs, a training DVD, the Demonstrator Manual, and a Product Guide.
AND - if you join under me, you become a member of my Atlantic Stampers Ink team with our monthly newsletters, frequents chats, and myself and other team demos experience and encouragement to further assist you in your stamping craft - or growing your business.
9. What if I decide that I don’t like it once I’ve started? Will I be penalized if I quit?
You may choose to stop at anytime, and you will not be penalized. You simply stop placing orders. No - you do not have to return your starter kit - it is yours to keep and enjoy!
