Quick & Easy Technique

I was working on a card set today and couldn't find a sheet of Designer Series Paper that worked with the colour I was using, so I used an old technique to create my own.

All I needed was a piece of crumpled up waxed paper! What could be easier?!

This is a great technique because you don't need any special equipment. Just daub the waxed paper on the ink pad, and stamp it on your paper. Re-ink each time to make the bold images...

And then fill in with stamped off images...

You can use more than one colour (different pieces of waxed paper for each colour) but for my purposes I only wanted one.

And here is the completed card:

Hope you like it!

  3. One of my favorites, cause it's so easy, and it looks particularly impressive with several shades of the same color...not to mention adding white or shimmer on top!
